Perched on the cliffs of the Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica, this Yoga Shala serves as a sanctuary designed to harmonize with the region's unique dry tropical forest. The structure adapts to the steep terrain across three terraced levels, framing panoramic views of both Playa Virador and Playa Blanca.

The architectural concept visualizes the mycelium network—the invisible fungal web that connects the forest. Two massive bamboo tree-columns anchor the space, with integrated LED lighting tracing organic paths across the ceiling to symbolize these natural connections. The irregular footprint respects the site's ecology, creating apertures that frame and preserve the protected native Laurel trees.
